"Till when you will wait for him?"

"May be, until the last spring of my life..." She replied adjusting the leaf he gave him, kept in her book.

"Mom! I don't know when he will come, but trust me this wait does not bother me. Honestly, it is one of the reason I feel lived and loved.

I could sense that day, it was cold weather there, and he was stammering while talking to me.

May be all of his friends we're calling him to sit near bonfire with them, but he choose me.

I understand mom, these moments are not enough to justify the wait. And, maybe nothing can justify the reasons behind that wait, the reasons that only two of us can feel.

Yes! it is difficult, but it is beautiful too. No moment can be more beautiful than he sending me the virtual countdowns, I smiling after looking at the calendar, he telling about his day, I fearlessly showing my worst side to him. Nothing can beat this mom."

"You are mad Heer!"

"I believe him mom..."

As soon as she replied the phone finally rang as if the universe was waiting for her confession exactly the same way it happened.

This beautiful feeling of finally listening to his voice took control over her and on the way all the logics and patience started stammering...

"Hey home!" He greeted him with the voice that owned a lot of courage...

"Tell me, are you coming this diwali?"

She understood his silence...

"Listen, I am not going anywhere...will wait for you."

"I am sorry, home. But..."

"I am proud of you jordon... You call me home, believe me. I am not upset instead I am proud of you.

Hey, I think mom is calling me, talk to you later."

Somehow she managed to escape the noise of her heartbreak.

"Was she upset?"

"No dad! She was not..."

He shut the door cursing himself to not to give her a chance to feel the beauty of being prioritized...

And there

She shut the door with the slightest smile assuring herself "he called me, and that's enough..."

And soon surrendering the tears, they both looked at the moon with thousands of questions in their eyes and answers in their heart...

"Kahin to.. kahin to

Hogi wo,

Duniya jahan tu mere saath hai..

Jahan mein, jahan tu, Aur jahan, bass tere mere jazbaat hai."
